Women are more likely to be seriously injured in a car crash if they're driving in their second trimester of pregnancy. The study blamed the fatigue, nausea, mood swings, and anxieties of pregnancy for the increased risk. So, do you tell women not to drive in the second trimester? The researchers say no, that the problems can be averted with routine safety advice. But if their problem driving comes from things that mean they're not in the frame of mind to take those precautions, then what? (Reuters)
