York County, PA decided to try a new tactic to go after deadbeat dads: Father's Day-themed text messages suggesting they make a child support payment as a "Father's Day gift." Actually, usually, it's the Fathers who GET the gifts on Father's Day, but no matter, you get the idea. And some dads who claim to be current with payments got the texts, and they're pissed. On the other hand, if you ARE a deadbeat dad, you deserve to get all the reminders in the world. Sure, it's annoying and maybe you have a beef with the system, but you gotta pay first and work that stuff out in court. (York Dispatch)
