Sorry About That, Chiefs
-
The woman behind the trademark challenge to the Washington Redskins name says that the Kansas City Chiefs are next. Is "Chiefs" the same level of offensive as "Redskins"? Does it matter that the logo is an arrowhead, the stadium's called Arrowhead, and they do the tomahawk chop at games? Does it matter that the team says it was actually named after Mayor H. Roe Bartle, known as "Chief"? Would they be able to get away with it if "Chief" actually meant "Chief Executive Officer," and the logo was a middle aged white guy in a suit? So many questions.
