Nothing To Lose, Nowhere To Go

A Nevada bill would make the state the latest to institute a "Right to Try" law allowing terminal patients to try unapproved experimental treatment as a last-ditch effort to save their lives. Some legislators say they're concerned about safety, which is strange, since if you're dying, you don't have any reason to worry about that. But there's one other hurdle: The FDA. The feds still control your access to drugs it hasn't approved. Do you want the option to take drugs that haven't been fully tested or approved if you're facing imminent death anyway?
