The Rules Don't Ban Crowbars, Either, But That Probably Wouldn't Fly
-
A casino did one of those contests where they sent out a lot of keys and only five would open a box and win a jackpot, namely an SUV. Radio people who know of promotions gone wrong will identify with this case: A woman inserted a key, had to shove it in and jiggle it (sounds dirty), and somehow opened the box. SUV jackpot! Only the casino won't give her the car because they said she had to manipulate the box to open it, and she didn't do it cleanly. If their rules don't specify that the lock had to open cleanly, does she deserve the car? Or did she unreasonably force it open, and the casino shouldn't be responsible for a mechanical malfunction?
