Finally, someplace where print media are thriving: oil boomtowns, in this case in Texas. Entrepreneurs are publishing magazines for the oil workers, because when they have a break, they might pick up a free paper for something to read to pass the time. This won't last forever, but at least the printed word is alive in one instance. (New York Times)
