A scandal has erupted in a Connecticut town because a middle school principal and a guidance counselor have been discovered to be -- gasp! -- making low0budget independent horror/slasher movies. Not porn, you understand, just the usual cheapie horror movies, and, come on, is this really a lapse of judgment? Yes, they put violence and hot women in various stages of undress in there, because that's what horror movies are about, but if the movies aren't being screened for the kids, so what? Besides, Herschell Gordon Lewis (Google him) started as a college English professor years before "Blood Feast." Tobe Hooper (same) was also a college professor before he made his big debut, and George Romero... okay, Romero wasn't a teacher, but if he taught, you'd want to take his class. (WVIT-TV/Hartford)
