Food Poisoning Would Keep Me Away. Or Finding Gross Stuff In The Food
-
Knott's Berry Farm, the theme park in Orange County, has a very, very popular restaurant that serves fried chicken. It's as much of a tourist attraction as the park. And when it was briefly closed due to a cockroach infestation, a topic came to mind: If one of your favorite restaurants got closed down, however briefly, due to a health department issue, how long would it take for you to go back, or would you cross it off your list for good? Some places never recover, but the degree of the violations isn't always a guideline. Remember Jack in the Box and the E.coli outbreak? Four kids died, 178 people were left with permanent injury, but not only did the chain survive, it's stronger than ever. What would make you not go back? (KABC-TV/Los Angeles)
