Empathy's Not On The Menu
-
Here's another case of a disabled person, in this case a 19-year-old, thrown out of a restaurant for making too much noise that disturbed others. What's weird is that I've been in restaurants when kids with autism or similar disabilities were making noise, and the first thing I assumed was that they had a condition and couldn't help making noise, and therefore it didn't bother me. I also assume others feel the same way. But some people evidently can't look past their own inconvenience. (The Mirror)
