A high school football player scored a touchdown, knelt to pray in the end zone... and got flagged for excessive celebration. It's up to the refs to decide if someone is trying to draw attention to himself, and they can flag that. The question is... why? Same for the NFL -- why is celebration deserving of a penalty? If it doesn't excessively delay the game, what's the big deal, prayer or not? (WBBH-TV/Fort Myers)
