Everything In This Column Is 'Alleged,' Just To Be Safe
-
Let this be a lesson to all of you who jump on stories without the "alleged" disclaimer: A man who was falsely identified as the guy who broke into a woman's house and took a selfie on her phone is suing Nancy Grace for defaming him. She showed his photo and said, "this is a textbook serial killer's calling card." But it came out that the picture wasn't really of the stalker, and now he's suing after failing to get a retraction or apology. Again, remember: alleged. Everything is alleged until proven.
