An interesting topic that comes from the story that an extremely popular retired MIT professor has been accused of online sexual harassment of a student is about how the school responded by taking his lectures off the Internet. Here's the thing: If he did sexually harass someone, punish him. But does whatever he did negate the value of his lectures? Does his instruction deserve to be deleted because of something he did outside the classroom? Who's being punished by this? (Boston.com)
