Didn't You See 'Ted'? That's All About His Capacity To Grow Up
-
We know, of course, that when he was younger, Mark Wahlberg was, by his own account, a bad kid, part of a gang of white kids who would attack black and Vietnamese people and yell racist names at them. Now, as a successful, famous adult, he is seeking to have his criminal record expunged and a pardon issued. But his victims aren't buying it. Imagine if you were chased, attacked, and left with (literal) scars, and the guy who did it comes back years later looking to be absolved because he straightened up later. And besides, after his first offense, he went out and violated an injunction with another, more violent attack on someone else. Should he get a pass for that because he's Mark Wahlberg?
