Scientists have discovered the answer to a question that never occurred to you because you didn't know this was going on: They now know why the male coin spider bites off its own genitals after sex. See? You didn't know they did that. And you can't imagine why. Here's why: They have little sperm to spend. Once they do, they need to block other coin spiders from trying to impregnate their mate, and, apparently, eating one's nuts keeps them fast on their many feet and... no, that really doesn't explain it. I'm glad the scientists are happy, but I still don't know what's going on. (The Mirror)
