So Death And Taxes Are UNcertain Now
-
A World War II vet, 94 years old, is not dead. The federal tax folks think he is. His last tax forms were rejected on the grounds that he's dead, which he insists he isn't. And no amount of pleading with them is changing their mind. Even the Social Security Administration knows he's alive, but the 1040s keep getting rejected, even though they ARE cashing his tax checks. Maybe a Congressperson should get involved. (Columbus Dispatch)
