One Way To Guarantee Good Reviews For His Band

Well, we have ONE answer to the question "Who on Earth would be interested in buying the New York Daily News?" The Post is speculating that James Dolan, owner of Madison Square Garden/Knicks/Rangers/Cablevision/Newsday, is kicking the tires, and while the idea makes some sense in the synergy with Newsday, but the topic here is this: The Daily News has been the primary media antagonist towards Dolan and his management of the Knicks (and his rock-star pretensions), and buying the Daily News would give him the chance to fire his tormentors, especially sportswriter Frank Isola, who's Public Enemy Number One around the Knicks front office. Imagine the revenge you could get if you could buy your sworn enemy's company. Who'd be the first on the chopping block? (New York Post)
