Once More (Maybe) Unto The Breach (If The NFL Approves)
-
As expected, the city council of Carson, CA unanimously approved going ahead with the new NFL stadium that the Raiders and Chargers have proposed. Never mind that they did it without a public vote. Never mind that the details haven't been worked out, and that despite the characterization of the plan as "privately financed," taxpayers will be on the hook for millions in infrastructure costs and could face more charges if they can't find another location for the public housing that was ticketed for part of the site. Never mind that the stadium is still a pipe dream and that it's as likely to be used to exact a new stadium for the Raiders back in Oakland. THE NFL WOOOOOOOO.
