On The Bright Side, The Houses Are Now A Lot Closer To The Water

I used to live along the Delaware River, so when I see these homes on the Jersey side where residents were evacuated because a faulty storm drain caused their yards to slide into the river, I think, there but for the grace of God.... Really, living by a river means there's always the possibility of flooding, or sinkholes, or landslides. You know it, you accept the risk, but when it happens, you're still distraught. (Philadelphia Inquirer)
