I know that you're tired of hearing baseball fans in Southern California complaining about how we don't get Dodger games on TV, but this week's news is that the failed Comcast Time-Warner merger has killed off any hope of a resolution. For people outside the Los Angeles area, you can look at this as the future of sports TV rights. You have to wonder whether something like this is going to happen in other markets, as cable operators realize that fans aren't going to cancel their subscriptions even if they can't get their favorite teams.
