Another Wrong-Side-Of-History Situation
-
A woman in Kansas uses medical marijuana to help her get through Crohn's disease. Her 11-year-old son went to school and told his classmates how the pot was helping his mom. That was enough for the state to swoop in and remove the boy from her custody. Seems Kansas is not a medical marijuana state. If she was a short ride west of the state line, in Colorado, she'd be fine. In Kansas, no. Was this a reason to take a child away from his mother? I mean, she's using it for a reason, he's aware of that reason (he said it saved her life), and there are several states where this would not even be an issue. The president has used pot. Ultimately, it's going to be legal everywhere. Why do this now? (Kansas City Star)
