Smelt It, Aren't Dealing It

You know we're in a drought here in California. What's weird is that there's a lot of water that COULD be used for agriculture that's being blocked instead. Why? The endangered Delta Smelt. Yes, a fish is the complicating factor. More complicated: Despite all efforts, the number of Delta Smelt left may already be zero; there was one left at last count, and they live a year. It'll be extinct within the next year or two no matter what they do. So, should they say Goodbye Smelt and take the water? (Fox News)
