Don't Make Us Read The In-Flight Magazine
-
A woman flew on United and discovered only after paying $7.99 for DirecTV service that it wasn't going to be operable outside the U.S. borders, which most of the flight was. So she's filed a $5 million class action lawsuit. The airline says that the information is in the fine print on the card in the seat pocket, but who reads that? And shouldn't they, oh, I don't know, TELL you that the TV service won't work BEFORE you pay? Because they know. (NJ Advance Media/NJ.com)
