Heywood Jablome Has Sent You A Friend Request
-
In case you want to figure out why people get so upset over Facebook's policy about "real names," this woman can't seem to keep her page active, because Facebook keeps shutting it down. The reason: her name is Tru Love. that's her real, legal name, and she didn't make it up: her parents named her that. And even though she provides them with her drivers license and other documentation, the social media site keeps telling her that she's violating their rules about using real names. This is a a especially a problem for people like disc jockeys and drag queens who use fake names as a matter of business, although I've seen people use their air names on their Facebook pages without getting dropped. Facebook says that they do this to prevent identity theft or deception, but if it's a name that you use in public and people know you by that name, what's the harm? (New York Daily News)
