How much do you let your employer know about you? This woman allegedly got fired because she deleted her employer's tracking app from her cell phone. The app let them follow her every move 24/7, and while it's claimed that such an app is for tracking business mileage for expense reports and things like that, she says her employer bragged about tracking employees off duty and knowing how fast they were driving. I understand why employers might WANT to track employee movements, but it's such a gross violation of privacy that I can't imagine anyone agreeing to it, even during work hours. (The Independent)
