I'd Add An 'Under The Kilt' Joke, But There Are Only, Like, 3, And They Aren't That Funny
-
A teen got turned away from his Christian independent prom for home-schooled teens because he was wearing a kilt and they wouldn't let him in because they thought it was a skirt. And even after being apprised of its status as a kilt and not a skirt, and that it's formal wear and part of the teen's heritage, they still said, no, the rule's pants. It's all pretty silly, actually; who really cares what he wears? Even if he's trying to be provocative, he's a teenager, that's what they do. Let him wear a kilt if he wants. (WTVD/Durham-Raleigh)
