How About Working While In One Of Those Jiggle-Belt Machines?

They keep telling us to get treadmill desks and walk around while working. But the early research says that doing so not only makes you more prone to typing mistakes -- you could guess that -- but also interferes with your cognitive abilities -- in other words, it makes you lousier at your work. And I think that makes sense, because part of your brain is concentrating on keeping you upright and moving without falling. Sitting, it turns out, is way better for your work. But not your health. You can't win. (New York Times)
