Throw A Soundbar On Your Big Screen TV And You're Set These Days

This article about the last hi-fi store within the city of Philadelphia is something you can extend well beyond the Delaware Valley. Simply put, do people care at all about audio quality anymore? When we were kids, it was a status thing to own a high-end stereo, and you'd find high-end stereo shops everywhere. Now, MP3s rule, and when higher quality audio costs more (ahem, Tidal), nobody pays. I have a friend really into high-quality audio systems -- he writes about them, and goes to conventions and private demos -- and it's like a religion with a radically shrinking congregation.
