If I Passed The Bar Exam, HOW HARD CAN IT BE?
-
An unaccredited L.A. law school is suing to overturn the State Bar of California's accreditation requirement of a minimum bar exam passage rate, saying that it discriminates against schools like itself that accept low-income and minority students. That's a problem, but so are a) schools cranking out lawyers at an alarming rate when there's not enough work for all of them, and b) schools cranking out graduates who can't pass the bar to practice in the first place, which should raise alarms, because if you're accepting students who aren't likely to pass the bar, what, really, are you doing for them? Taking their money for... what? (Los Angeles Times)
