When Can We Go Back To Ignoring This Person We Never Heard Of Before This?
-
As the Kentucky Anti-Gay-Marriage County Clerk finds herself released from jail for now, it turns out that marriage licenses issued Friday while she was in the slammer left her name off the certificates, and her attorney says that makes them worthless. I doubt the court will agree. Anyway, we're paying a LOT of attention to a county that nobody outside that particular area of Kentucky even knew existed before now, aren't we? I mean, yeah, she's wrong and all that, but this is a LOT of international attention being paid to someone who, in the grand scheme of things, is pretty irrelevant. (Lexington Herald-Leader)
