This article is actually just about the reaction to the news that a restaurant in San Francisco is basically styled after the old Automat -- it's an automated restaurant where you order on a touch screen and retrieve your food from behind glass doors. If you're of a certain age, this will be very familiar, and an everything-old-is-new-again moment. But it's also a question of how much you WANT it to be automated. This place -- a quinoa restaurant, so, well, meh -- has no waiters, no counter, really nobody on the floor, just a DIY thing going on.
