There Will Be A Test On This, Kids. A Blood Test, Actually
-
An eighth grade homework assignment involved a scenario about partying, drinking, a one-night stand, and herpes, and, really, what was the teacher thinking? The assignment was meant to "identify the reactive response to the given situation," but did they think that this was age-appropriate? Or that it was appropriate for a class that ISN'T Sex Education and from which parents had no opportunity to opt their kids out? On the other hand, how old are eighth graders, 13 or 14? Kids that age are pretty wise to sex, considering that's when their hormones start to rage. (WCAU-TV/Philadelphia)
