Here's a question: If your managers told you that you HAD to get a flu shot, mandatory, or you couldn't work without wearing a surgical mask, would you get the shot, or if you didn't want the shot, would you wear the mask or quit? Now, let's complicate matters with this story of workers who do NOT work in the health care industry but DO work with seniors. They're fighting mandatory flu shots. The company says, well, you're working with people whose immune systems may be compromised. If you didn't want to get a shot, how hard would you fight this? Where do your rights not to submit to a medical procedure and the employers' concern that you might pose a danger to your clients collide? (NJ Advance Media/NJ.com)
