Hold On. Network TV? They Still Have That?
-
Unlike previous seasons, it's taken a long time into the TV season for the first network show to be canceled, ABC's "Wicked City," which I didn't even know was on the air. Nobody did, apparently. It lasted all of three episodes. The delay in canceling shows -- in the past, they were pulling the trigger after one episode in some cases -- is about time shifting and on-demand viewing, and the utter lack of any better options to put on the air, and the desire to see if a show can find an audience through a slow social media build. Lord knows, the bar's been set really low. (Los Angeles Times)
