After a rally by black students at Kean University in New Jersey, the school received Twitter death threats, bringing the problems faced by the students into clear... no, wait, it turns out that the threats were actually posted by one of the rally activists, a black student who slipped away from the event halfway through, went to the library, got on a computer, created a fake account, and posted racist threats. Why did she think this was necessary? There ARE legitimate issues faced by black students everywhere that don't need embellishment, and faking things just gives people justification for ignoring the real problems. But college activists don't always have fully formed tactical skills. (NJ Advance Media/NJ.com)
