Maybe They Should Move ALL Teams To L.A., Just For The Weather
-
By now, you know that the Seahawks and Vikings will play their playoff game this weekend outdoors in Minnesota, and it will be ridiculously cold. The HIGHS this weekend will be in single digits. Now, we all remember back in the days of Lombardi and the Ice Bowl and the "frozen tundra" at Lambeau, but that was before domes were common. (If not for the Vikings needing an interim home at TCF Bank Stadium while the new stadium's being completed, this game would have been indoors.) Should football -- or any sport -- be played outdoors when the temperature becomes frostbite cold (or, for that matter, triple digit hot)? It's not the players -- they can have heaters on the sideline and, unless they want to be "intimidating" and look "crazy" and get "frostbite" by wearing short sleeves ("Cold? Ha! I laugh at cold! I spit at cold!... Hold on, my saliva's frozen") -- but should ANY fans sit in zero-degree temperatures to watch a game? (CNN)
