How The Real Stars Do It
-
Among all the David Bowie memories and tributes online, this one was the most unusual to me: Back on the 1974 Diamond Dogs tour, half of his costumes and props were destroyed en route to the show in Tampa (a bee caused the truck driver to crash). And so Bowie went on with a stripped-down show, losing most of the theatrics. And, of course, that made it extra memorable. Sometimes, even for someone as expert a showman as Bowie, all you need is the music. (Tampa Tribune)
