Nothing Seems Safe Anymore
-
Two guys were arrested for robbing an elderly Atlantic City casino patron and breaking his back in an assault as he tried to enter his hotel room. It's nice that security at all the casinos is coordinated so that when the culprits showed up at another hotel, they were spotted and arrested, but it still seems too easy for bad guys to get to hotel rooms without being stopped by security. Some Vegas hotels have guards before you get to the elevator, some require you to hold a key card to a sensor before you can go up, but some have nothing and even the sensors aren't enough (not if you follow someone onto the elevator). Do you feel safe in hotels these days? (Press of Atlantic City)
