Four Loko?!? So 2009

Port Authority police arrested this guy for drunk driving at the Holland Tunnel. In his car: four empty Chardonnay bottles and an open Four Loko. You know, it's been a while since we had a Four Loko story; I wasn't even sure they still made it. And they discovered he had at least 14 prior suspensions, which raises the topic of how many chances a habitual drunk driver should get, or a habitual bad driver of any kind. 14? Look, the guy obviously needs help, but you can't force him into an effective recovery and you may not be able to keep him off the road short of imprisonment. So, when do you go the latter route?
