There's a huge scandal in the world of crossword puzzles, involving one editor's allegedly lifting themes and even many clues and answers from the New York Times puzzle, sometimes in the same patterns. This might strike you as silly, but this, I think, is part of a larger problem in which more and more people think nothing of stealing jokes, tweets, Instagram pictures, and even entire web posts and Wikipedia entries and pass them off as their own. Stop this. It's theft. It's amoral. And it disrespects the people who actually do original work. (Five Thirty Eight)
