I Suppose A Few 10 Percent Off Coupons Wouldn't Take Care Of This

What should a company do when a clerk allegedly says something unfortunate to a customer? In Australia, a customer with a son with cerebral palsy was told by an Aldi cashier that the boy would be "better off dead" and that she'd had a child early who died and she was better off. The mom complained, and the company, she says, kind of blew her off. But is it their responsibility? What should they do, especially since mom doesn't think the clerk should be punished? What's the store supposed to do? (Brisbane Times)
