We Won't Even Eat A Bruised Apple
-
The number assigned to the amount of food wasted in America each year is $160 billion. And in a survey, about half of the respondents said they know of the problem and 80% say they feel guilty about it, but 51% say it's too difficult to reduce the waste and 42% say they just don't have the time to worry about it. So we know it's wasteful and are vaguely aware of the consequences but as far as doing anything about it, nah. We kinda suck. (Bloomberg)
