Oh, Great, Another 45-Minute 'Rosalita.' Perfect

Being one of the few New Jersey natives who never got into Bruce Springsteen, I have heard from countless fans who insist "you gotta see him live," and they tout how his concerts go over three hours. And here's a review of his latest concert, at the Meadowlands, nearly 4 hours, and it struck me: I would not want to hear ANY concert for that long, no matter HOW much I love the performer. Four hours of ANYTHING is too long. A four hour ballgame is interminable. You need a break from binge-watching TV shows after, say, three hours max, and that's with bathroom and food breaks. You can't hit pause on a Bruce Springsteen concert. HE can sneak off for a pee and a drink during a sax solo, but not you. So, is a long, long, LONG concert a GOOD thing? (NJ Advance Media/NJ.com)
