At 16, I Was Just Happy If I Could Make It To The Bus Stop On Time
-
The question I have about this story of a 16-year-old who managed to buy a high-performance BMW without his family knowing and promptly crashed it and killed himself is how the hell a teen can buy a BMW, period, let alone without the family knowing. Even a well-used BMW is going to require a lot of money, whether you buy it from a dealer or some guy on Craigslist. Sad that he crashed and died, but I don't know how he pulled off getting the car in the first place. Another topic: youthful car obsession, which, if you believe the stories, has faded as Millennials go without cars. What was your dream car as a kid, and are your own kids into cars or not?
