They're SUPPOSED To Serve You Just Enough To Keep You Losing Money
-
A man convicted of assaulting his then-fianceƩ is suing a casino for overserving him alcohol before the incident. He says he was served 17 drinks. Lots of doubles of whiskey. And then he beat his girlfriend so severely the charge was nearly attempted murder. Was it the casino's duty not to serve him when he was visibly drunk? Even if he was not driving that night? How about if the attack happened hours after the drinking stopped? But then there are laws against serving drunk people, so... who's to blame? (Allentown Morning Call)
