It might get better in a few years as generics get more established, but for now, the price of erectile dysfunction drugs and other sex drugs is still cost-prohibitive for those for whom insurance doesn't cover the drugs. Insurers pull the "not medically necessary" card, but it IS medically necessary for a lot of people for whom sex is an essential part of their quality of life. While they're reviewing what to do with health insurance, maybe this should be on the to-do list. (AP via SFGate.com)
