Hey, Play Sets And Snack Bars Don't Come Cheap, You Know
-
People do not take it seriously enough when they're told to watch out for how government wastes their money. And so we get a town in New Jersey that's spending $353,619 on a dog playground in a park. Now, we can't dispute the need for dog parks -- no argument there -- but $353,619? Why? What could possibly cost that much? How much could it cost to throw up a fence around the designated area, and what else would you need? A couple of signs? How does that merit a six-figure expense? (Philadelphia Inquirer)
