Torrance police are looking for a guy who robbed a teen at an ATM by hitting her with a baseball bat, and that's not why I picked out this story. No, it's because he told her he was doing it because he needed to buy food for his family. Did he think that justified anything? Because you don't get off the hook for robbery and assault by mentioning your good intentions, do you? Was he trying to make himself feel better before he whacked her with the bat?
