Back To The Days Of 'Well, He LOOKS Guilty, Doesn't He?'
-
The Obama Justice Department convened a panel of scientists to come up with ways to improve forensic science. Jeff Sessions has ordered that the commission be disbanded and all consideration of forensic improvements be done in-house. We know the current administration is anti-science, but why would the DOJ NOT want to get the best minds together to make it so what you saw on "CSI" really happens? Well, for one thing, prosecutors and D.A.s don't want improvements that might show that the evidence they bring to court isn't foolproof. It would make it harder to get a conviction when you don't really have the evidence. There's why. (Washington Post)
