Frankly, I Always Forget Which Songs Were Airplane And Which Were Starship Anyway
-
Craig Chaquico is suing some former bandmates to stop them from using the name Jefferson Starship, which he says he and the band retired in 1985 and allowed Paul Kantner and Paul Kantner only to use the name before he died last year. Chaquico says that using the name is "tarnishing the legacy of the original Jefferson Starship band." You might say, "what legacy? Wasn't that the lame Marty Balin edition with "Miracles"? Not to be confused with the even lamer Starship of "We Built This City" infamy? But, hey, if it was YOUR band, you'd be protective, too. (AP via SFGate.com)
