Can They Do Something About People Taking Forever To Get Bags Out Of The Overhead?

Having seen success with it in Burbank, Southwest Airlines is testing a faster deplaning process at other airports. How? By opening the back door, too, and having passengers get off down a ramp to the tarmac, then back up into the terminal. You like that? I've had that on flights landing in Long Beach, because they don't have jetways and everyone has to go down to the tarmac. But if it's a choice between waiting a few more minutes not to have to go down/outside and up again, I might just prefer to wait. (San Francisco Chronicle)
